        I once worked at a large company that adopted SAFe. (Disclosure: I'm not a SAFe fan.) In SAFe, between each Program Increment (bunch of sprints) is a two-week "Innovation and Planning" sprint. (more)

        The company decided it could increase the percent utilization of the programmers by cutting it to one week and renaming it the "Planning Sprint". SMH

        This is not true SAFe. If you are seeing this in a SAFe transformation and it feels like waterfall, it probably is.
