One of any deliverable/service/commodity is scary. Competition makes us leaner and customer focused. There’s a balance. Physicians are not ready for single payer or unregulated, market based healthcare, but status quo ain’t sustainable - monetarily or professionally
Imagine one payer. One formulary. One process for prior auth. One of it all. Let the simplicity of that sink in.

I agree with some of that. But the reality is the messed up system we have now breaks all the principles of market dynamics that would traditionally make competition a good thing.
