Being nice on a daily basis. For the uninitiated: Nice isn't a dirty word, nor is it a synonym for doormat. Consider the alternative

Name me a perfect person? Just One? No? Then, for stars sake #auspol, STOP taking slices out of good people because they haven’t obtained ( your version ) of perfection! In fact, support them, ‘cause tearing them down really does allow the others to flourish

A very Wilcox tale: The other day, a neighbour sent a group text saying she had heaps of lemongrass, did we want some? I didn’t reply. But when I got home from dog walk today, there were three stalks of lemongrass on our verge, so I thought maybe she’d given it to us anyway…1/

FYI I know a lot of people want immediate action from across a number of areas, and I'll be up front I'm a card carrying member of the ALP, but the election was held in May and it is now only August, may I suggest just cool your jets for a bit, no offence :)

Watching ’s On Country and my heart is bleeding. It’s 2022, yet these smart, talented 17 and 18 year old Indigenous Australians still think the rest of Australia believe they’re lazy, dishonest, incompetent etc. What an appalling legacy we leave. Just shameful
👇🏻 So True. Exceedingly important point from regarding the USA, but relates to every jurisdiction, everywhere. Turn up and work together. Pretty basic, really

If the goal is to pass more Progressive bills, threatening to withhold votes for Dems just helps elect Repubs who won’t ever do so. Most people stop threatening to hold their breath until they get what they want when they’re 5 years old. These types really need to grow up.
Hey America 👋🏻, from a country that has just emerged from the results of progressives and less progressives fighting amongst themselves, DON’T DO IT!!! It just means the enemy, the regressive party, wins #RoeVsWade #blamegame
Americans, men and women alike, I weep for you today. What a regressive action by your Supreme Court. I can only send virtual hugs. And hope every one of you does everything you can to vote, and help others to vote, in November #RoeVsWade
Okay Tasmania, who appoints our judges? Could whoever they are please have an word with this guy. All Tasmanians should be (probably are) disgusted. So out of touch #politas #taspol

It's 2022, but I fear attitudes from the 1950s are still holding sway in our courts when it comes to rape. A judge in Hobart yesterday described the rape of women by their partners as less serious rape committed by strangers "jumping out of bushes" at night in public spaces.

Can we just not? Checked my Twitter feed this morning to find we’re slut shaming Sophie Monk….Ewww, no! Don’t care about the dress, don’t care about the Logies, don’t care about who it is. Do care about giving the message that what anyone wears is anyone else’s business

Is it historical art or illustrated history? Either way, go if you’re in Canberra

Look, I’m not an #Assange supporter, I think he’s a bit of a wanker. But you don’t have to be, to be concerned about an Australian citizen being deported to a country with the death penalty. You’re up,

This is why ⁦⁩ is bringing me back to . I want everyone, no matter their allegiance, to be rigorously, but politely questioned. And she’s perfect for the role. Excellent piece by ⁦⁩ *See addendum 👇🏻

Very pleased to inform the House that I have won the 2022 Tasmanian Open (chess) with a score of 6/6. My 13th win of the title (seven shared) but my first with a perfect score (albeit including a forfeit win) and the 6th perfect score in the history of the event.
