So instead of picking the stage and sometimes backing out to change ruleset, you change the ruleset every time and it auto-loads the stage. Literally foolproof, and it would also help for people that don’t primary the game and can’t find the stages in the stage selection screen

...I actually hate how that makes sense and how no one thought of that until now.

That’s kinda where I’m at. Like it’s super roundabout, but there’s no way I’m the first to consider this. Actually no friggen way

You would still have to switch the ruleset? Not to mention you’d have to make at least 6 different rule sets
-
Yeah but now it’s consistent. Instead of picking the stage and changing the ruleset if necessary, you just back out and pick the ruleset tailored for the stage you want. It’s more work with potentially more payoff, especially for charity events where you’d want a bigger stagelist

Like the idea BUT it would be too much work to make rulesets like that on every switch in a tournament.
-
No argument here, but I think the ends justify the means. Especially if we get a good hazards on stage like FoD

You'd only need two rulesets. One for all hazards on stages. One for all hazards off stages.
-
The issue is we tried that at launch, and there were a lot of cases where people picked the wrong stage. The reason that’s an issue is if you pick ps2 hazards on, you won’t notice until like a minute into the match
