You perhaps read it wrongly... the direction of travel indicated is likely actually towards Russia... not the other way! Russians are notorious for doing the opposite of what they state publicly!

While Lavrov threatens to occupy more Ukrainian land, Zakharova claims Russia does not interfere in sovereign countries.
