    Today, I'm announcing that the NYC pension funds will divest an estimated $4 billion from fossil fuels—one of the largest fossil fuel divestments in the world. Climate change is the fight of our lives—and must face it head on with everything we’ve got.

    One of the ironies of climate activism is that us wild-eyed activists have had a better understanding of oil and gas industry finance over the past decade than high-paid big fund managers. When will etc divest?

    Energy: the worst-performing sector of 2020 by a longshot. FYI the S&P 500 defines "The Energy Sector" as "oil & gas and coal & consumable fuels", it does not include renewables.
