    If I’m utterly shattered, physically ruined & mentally spent looking after 2 disabled family members with ZERO outside help, how the f*** does a young carer, equally without that support & schooling at the same time manage?!? Come old UK government.. you can do better than this

    This Government has severely neglected mental health services. We need to make sure that mental health is treated with the same urgency as physical health. Let’s end the stigma and encourage a more open dialogue around mental health. 💜

    Haha. Not on the "disabled" area. I've been bumped to the vip section without knowing. I'm sat with the bands family. People who've seen them before so you know. Didn't know I was still famous enough to be worthy of vip. Not so bothered now. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    So much this - not apologising for coalition didn’t harm us in the EP elections I fully accept we made mistakes in coalition, but the only people banging on about it now are those who will never vote for us. Or those LibDems who self flagellate almost as much as Gladstone did.

    Once arrived at an event and they barred my way & were nasty with it. 'D'you have a ticket?' 'No, I don't. I'm-' 'Then you'll have to leave. It's sold out. You can't come in.' 'If I leave then so does everyone else as they've all paid to hear me speak.' Red faces all round. 🙃

    The Irish leaders’ debate is really quite shocking. The three leaders have a detailed grasp of complex welfare and tax issues, they are polite and courteous, they admit mistakes, they say sorry. They might even be largely honest. Why is all that possible in Ireland but not here?

    Really glad to see this on the Jubilee line . The stickers are often ignored and this is blatantly obvious on the back of the seat. A great help to disabled passengers carrying a & blue card saying 'please offer me a seat'.

    Priority seat sticker above seat with message on seat back.
    Someone may need this seat more is printed on seat back fabric.
    Board train here for level access at stations on the ground mid platform with wheelchair logo.

    I will, if I can, transfer to a seat if I can’t face the direction of travel in my chair. This usually leads to other passengers trying to move my empty chair from the wheelchair space for their luggage/dogs/bums 🙄

    Sitting in my chair on the train to Milton Keynes. Getting thrown around like a rag doll. Can't transfer into a seat because the design of the seating. Been finding the irony of crap access & design a bit much recently. Been fighting a bit too long for the lack of real change.

    So Electric it is but will tax be progressive? So will a 2 1/2 ton, 0-60 like an F1 but with SUV shed like aerodynamics be taxed the same as say a little Honda e? Which one is likely to create the most indirect carbon? And which likely to cause carnage at junctions & schools?

    To do that they need a complete structure of charging points backed by a big increase in electricity generation capacity from renewable sources. To date they have no credible plans for these.

    So glad I’ve seen this.. mine have needed doing so much more over the last couple of months I was worried they may need replacing but this has just made so much sense! Thanks for tweeting I’ve been worrying about the expense 🤦🏻‍♀️

    My wheels have always been foam-filled tyres on separate wheel rims. My new powerchair came with foam-filled tyres glued to a lightweight wheel. They sound like flat tyres on a car and are uncomfortable. Whilst waiting for the manufacturer, my old wheels have been swapped on.

    Blooming cold weather. Its made my tyre pressure drop even though I pumped them up yesterday. You might not know this but low tyre pressure can cause all manner of pain & spasming issues for wheelchair users. Keep them checked & at pressure. First job through the door tonight.

    Trouble with Johnson and Javid trying to bully their way through public finances is that the money doesn't lie and the markets and banks will see through your numbers. Trashing our relationship with EU trading partners is high risk.

    Our government needs to fund better access for universities & colleges. Why not fund design colleges to explore new methods of adapting these old buildings as well as ensuring new buildings are fit for purpose.

    I use a scooter. I man walked into the shop as I was leaving. The door closed as he crossed infront of me. He did a 360 and pushed the door open and told me to have a wonderful day. THIS man was a human. Why can't we all be human?
