SFPD have responded to a number of auto burglaries & robberies in this area related to a dispensary there. A recent report showed a 753% increase in car break-ins in tourist areas f/May 2019 to 2020. But this is scary to me since it involves a weapon in a non-tourist area.
It could be even worse if it is at fisherman’s wharf. Very sad to see a very beautiful city like this.
Can you explain how the robberies are related to the dispensary?
I’m imagining it’s a cash business and people around there at going to be carrying cash or weed

My neighbor who has lived here many years with his two children moved to Houston, Texas today. This place becomes more and more uninhabitable due to high cost of housing and growing crimes.

The 753% number turns out to be bogus cherry picked statistics. Even The Chron pulled the headline, since it was so misleading. Car breakins are down from 2019 citywide.
