A Sunset man jumped f/his moving car after being carjacked by a man w/a gun Fri. He was forced into passenger seat & robbed.

He doesn’t want me sharing his name b/c the suspect asked him details about his family & who lives w/him. He said the man threatened to kill him. That’s why he jumped. The injuries are all over: 2/4pic.twitter.com/2iDiSnNClG
I asked him (as I usually do w/Asian victims) if he felt targeted b/c of his race given the increase in reported attacks.
He says maybe his was random but believes criminals target neighborhoods w/Asians b/c Asians are believed to carry cash.

SFPD was able to recover the vehicle but have not made any arrests in this case yet. Anyone w/information can call: 575-4444.
