    Oh I also forgot to mention that I just passed my 10 year anniversary working at Mojang and thus on Minecraft! It was in February 😅 It doesn't feel like 10 years. Gosh. I was a teenager when I started modding Minecraft and now I'm 30. Oh dear. Time is escaping!

    I redesigned the effects list for today's snapshot, so that they're visible even with the recipe book open & even if you don't have much screen space. Check it out and let me know any thoughts on how it looks? ❤️ (icons only is when there's not enough space for the big list)

    The last time I called them and spoke to some supervisor, he told me "I don't care" and to contact a lawyer. I would not recommend this company. They just bought out my ISP though so I'm now somewhat stuck.

    I think I'm coming up to the 1 year anniversary of charging me for something I don't have/want and they've told me multiple times before that they'll cancel it but won't refund me. Clearly didn't even cancel it. Back to the multihour line phone queues... :(

    I also fixed the super annoying thing where you're typing a message to someone whilst you're in bed and suddenly your chat closes because it's day. The amount of times that's upset me in the last few weeks alone… oh gosh. What's your most annoying tiny thing in Minecraft?

    The second is that glass & redstone lamps give off "smashed glass" sound effects whenever you silk touch them. I feel like that should probably only be whenever they broke, and we should have a different sound for "successfully" breaking them? what do you think?

    At first I'm going to be 25%, easing back in. It's going to be weird. But I'm still excited. That's 2 hours a day. I made a to-do list of tiny quality of life features that would take less than 2hrs to do - nothing more. Things that nagged me as a player. Good way to come back?

    I've been able to explore things myself, to be surprised, not knowing everything ahead of time... I legitimately haven't been this excited, this passionate about Minecraft in a long long time. I'm excited to go back.

    I haven't really kept up with any Minecraft news or behind the scenes this year and it's been incredibly refreshing - for the first time in 10 years I've been able to play a new Minecraft update as a *player* and not a developer!

    I've spent a good part of this year on a break from work for mental health. I'm so thankful for my colleagues and Mojang for encouraging me to take the time off, I don't think I would have made the leap alone. Tomorrow, I'm coming back to work. Back to the world of Minecraft...
