We need to expand wind energy in NYS: both on shore and offshore, including looking at the Great Lakes. Jacobson report says 40% of NYS energy to come from OSW, (Need 10000 MW 2030) 10% onshore. Why are we factory farming wind & solar and not providing more incentives to homeowners & businesses ?

Kelly, wind energy is an incentive to local landowners! It provides a critical source of revenue for farmers who lease their land to produce clean energy. And, generates tax revenue for the local school system.

What I don't want is to go the beach and see more turbines than, say, dolphins. Note % is higher for OSW. Know why? Do you live near a wind 'farm' ?
