What can be done? They could enforce the regulations for platforms. Platforms, like FB & Twitter, receive federal tax subsidies & federal protections (from individual lawsuits). In return, they are required by law to allow all civil discord.
This is the kind of censorship conservatives have to deal with. This post quoting Joe Biden's words was "fact-checked" by Facebook's "independent" fact-checkers.
