It is only temp root, right ? Otherwise i don't understand how to deal with secure bootchain w/o OEM (i.e. bootloader) unlocking.

It would be pretty handy! There are people (including me) working on OEM unlock for Verizon-locked devices and lack of proper root privileges makes things much more complicated
