And even now: with hundreds of patients here and an entire Italian region similar to the size of the entire Dutch population in lock down. Many people still not getting it. They joke about fake coughing scaring people and unironic still treat this like a seasonal flu instead.
Another thing I do is updating a #coronakaart at a daily base since the first case was reported. There wasn’t even a spread map provided in the beginning. It took them 2 days to release their own inferior map which isn’t responsive to mobile devises.

And because I’m some of the only journalists who - according to some - gets it, my amount of followers exploded. I can’t do this alone, I need colleagues to support me doing this. I really really want to trust the Dutch gouvernement on handeling this. But they need to inform its people as adults or as docile children who do as the command. No more friendly gestures or political debates, I‘m in need of intelligent leadership and clear guidelines.

Great job. The one thing I would suggest is to not report the number of uninfected inhabitants - that's a known unknown.

Yeah I’m going to rephrase that in my next map. It should be something which put people at ease and corresponds with reality at the same time.
