OUTRAGE in the Express. FURY at the Telegraph. Why? The UK was handed an EU "bill" adjusting its 2019 contribution, precisely along the formula it agreed, for the period it was still a member. Seems to me it's the Brexit press, not Remainers, struggling to find another gear. -AA

Trump just said GOP Rep Steve Scalise wasn’t good looking until after he got shot: “I think you’re better looking now. You’re more handsome now. You weren’t that good looking.“ Trump then talked about the shooting and re-enacted a gun being shot. Unreal, unhinged and demented.

Objectively, this is a remarkable and abject abandonment of integrity.

Id very much like to see the anyone else care to let know the sooner we see it and put it to bed the less the nagging doubt...

We are going to end up with food imported which is not allowed now because of animal welfare and human health issues.. mark my words. Listen to the language softening us up. Liam Fox just defending chlorine washed chickens. Chlorine used because of awful conditions they reared in

Controlling media access is a common thread between Trump and Johnson. Both mask creeping authoritarianism (Miller, Cummings) with milk-the-laughs theatrical bluster - the rally rant for Trump; the rumpled joker for Johnson, but behind the mask it's sinister

Breaking/ just tried to ban certain national newspapers from a Number 10 briefing. This is truly sinister stuff. Hats off to the BBC, ITV, Mail, Telegraph & Times for walking out too in protest, rather than let him get away with it.

Brexit in a nutshell, zero understanding of what they have voted for. Every journalist needs to ask ‘but what does that actually mean’ in Vox pops or interviews on Brexit, don’t let people get away with spouting nonsense - follow lead.

So it appears that Boris Johnson was lying to the country in his Friday night Facebook message promising we would remain close frends with the EU. How unlike him

So, I’ve watched, and believe me, I’ve tried, but I still haven’t heard a single person speaking in favour of Brexit on the telly today who has impressed me. Not one! And that’s a sadness....

This is the saddest of days. “...never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee.”

Amazing picture. Impossible to square reality with the horrible portrayal of the EU as some sort of enemy of the U.K. By the time we realised the damage done, it was too late to fix. At least we win lower food standards, slower growth, closures, price increases & fewer freedoms!

The half of the country that will rightly treat tomorrrow as one of the darkest days in British history should feel no obligation to put on a brave face in response to Johnson's tinny platitudes much less Brexit cackling. Mourn; rage and hold them to account

I'm so sad & angry about today I'm staying off the socials. But sending strength to everyone feeling the same and especially those this will dramatically impact who've already lived the last few years in extreme precarity. I'm so sorry. It's so shit.

My final piece to camera from my former-office in the European Parliament. Today is a sad day for Scotland, but the future is in our hands. Scotland is a European nation, and we will have our voices heard.

BREAKING: Chairman Schiff slams Dershowitz hard: “What we have seen over the past few days is a descent into constitutional madness. The only reason you make that argument is because you know your client is guilty and dead to rights. That is an argument made of desperation.”

The only positive that comes out of this debacle is that all these Little Englanders are now out of a job, no influence, no position. The Posh Spiv’s life work is over where will he spew his vitriol next?
