The problem isn’t your music bro, it’s the visuals. Youtube wants people to make actual VISUAL CONTENT, so you gotta shoot some footage for your music. You can’t monetize still images with music anymore

I’ve asked many people on the Youtube forums and the Youtube subreddit, and they all said you can’t monetize a still image, especially one that you didn’t own/create.

Yeah but it’s still just an image. YouTube wants VIDEOS. I wish I could use still images man, but we gotta change how we do our videos if we want to get monetized.

That’s because you’re monetizing a song from a distribution service. It’s different if you want to monetize videos YOURSELF. Visualizers are “moving” but they’re still considered reused content because it’s autogenerated.
