    So, let's work through an example: compiling `msbuild` The latest version of `msbuild` uses .NET Core 2 to build. That's not the problem. The problem is GitVersion in NuGet. `msbuild` (amongst other software) uses GitVersion or derived libraries to version itself. Yay, right?
