Well yah ... He is not wrong. Playing gamed is a way to escape reality and burn time. But I understand what he means there is more productive things to do with that time if you so desired. Makes me wonder what i might have become if not for all the time in games.

I mean that goes for anything, really. Sports, watching Netflix, cooking, you name it. And benefits from video games do exist, particularly cognitive effects, that supersede those from other activities. Unless you’re really addicted (never met anyone like that) then it’s fine.

I mean... he is lowkey right tho... not everyone can become a streamer/pro player. If you not of those 2 things then is pretty much wasting time. Cus that’s what you do lol. Play games to kill time pretty much.

Ah yes, don’t hang with friends either. Gets your nowhere in life and is a waste of time. Just be productive 24/7 and don’t ever take a break.

I played video games and smoked weed for the better part of my life and I own multiple successful businesses. Video games are a hobby that actually provide a living IF you want to take it there and have the skill and ability.

What he meant is : "most people do play video games for fun which is wasting their time and to entertain themselves. I mean if it doesn't bring you anywhere and or win you trophies, it means you're wasting your time with your game"

I literally made over $200 in my last two 3 hour streams. That is $33.33 an hour. Waste of time? Don't get you anywhere? Hmm... seems like my "waste of time" just paid my gas and electric bill next month.

how many of people who stream on twitch or who actually game 10h per day earn any money? Taking single cases to prove a point doesn't really work. Either way, good for you but most of others aren't so lucky.
