I just can’t take superhero movies seriously. So when they’re not serious, I can enjoy them. Deadpool, Thor: Ragnarok, Shazam, Guardians of the Galaxy - that’s my level.
I was really hoping for more of the sitcom stuff as it was a nice break from superhero action. I was getting a bit of Lost vibes with the weird radio broadcasts and hoped it went in that direction but it’s still enjoyable.
Also very 'Life on Mars' when the radio started glitching, as @FECumming pointed out!
When we got to ep4 opening in the hospital, only then did I start to get a sense of what was happening - it was not what I was expecting overall, but very cool
