Dude. No. Really. You’re the only ones who care that you declared independence. No one else celebrates that.
My marine biology prof was Oxford-trained and a very posh gentleman. I had asked him what the British view on American independence was and he said "we sent a bunch of religious zealots across the Atlantic so we didn't have to deal with them anymore."
