We adopted a 6month old kitten last friday. he hasn't eaten a thing in 5 days, even after giving him an appetite stimulant for the last two days. Spent $300 at the vet. The vet says he's fine. I may have to give him back to the foster family, just so he doesn't starve to death.

come investigate. Make sure there's fresh water and a litterbox. As for food? Try a raw approach. Fresh, raw unprocessed turkey is great.
When we adopted our recent kitten, we gave him raw turkey to acclimate him to the new environs. It worked wonders.
