Okay, my question to you, not including your hometown or any town you have actually lived in... ...what is your favorite city you have ever visited and why?

I went back for a visit in 1995, shortly before the handover. Haven't been back since, and now it looks like I never will.
I can still remember the New Territory was only farmland back then. But I absolutely remember the good food, despite only being in the 3rd grade. I was in Tokyo during the handover and tried to make it but everything was booked.

I lived in HK in the 1970s, and my house was in Yau Yat Chuen (just north of Boundary Street), right under the flight path for planes coming into Kai Tak, landing gear already down.
