Poetry has a weird commonality with sex in that if you're in the mood for it, it's beautiful and incredible and powerful and perfect and you could just devour it forever. But if you're not, it's the funniest fucking shit you can possibly see in a deeply painful way.
And many think they're more gifted at it than they actually are.
