Earlier this evening, an explosion rocked the neighborhood. Sounded like a mortar going off less than 100m from my apartment. It brought me & my neighbors to our front doors/windows. 1 hr ago, I heard the sounds of pistol fire being exchanged. 10 mins ago cars raised by. Wtfigo??

I have Finland on my short list, but only because I see Darian able to withstand the cold. I'm SoCal, born and raised, and built for warmth weather. Pretty sure I'd snap, like an icicle in that weather... Wait, is there bobsledding?pic.twitter.com/WAxdJU3yir
Kira is a socal lady as well, would be bundled up if it dropped below 70F, but is now in a tshirt when it's 58F. It's actually quite comfortable here.

Ok, kool. Cuz, that's been my biggest deterrent in putting Finland on my short list. When it comes time to start researching options and planning, I'll make sure to include it. And, when school ends next fall, I'll see what kinds of work opportunities they offer, too.
