Earlier this evening, an explosion rocked the neighborhood. Sounded like a mortar going off less than 100m from my apartment. It brought me & my neighbors to our front doors/windows. 1 hr ago, I heard the sounds of pistol fire being exchanged. 10 mins ago cars raised by. Wtfigo??

Yeah, I’ve noticed. Wasn’t even sure about how to phrase it in my tweet. I thought about just writing „If you don’t need sunny sandy shores and/or sun in general.
We have beaches! The water is a bit cold, but we still got em. And Helsinki is a major airline hub for the rest of Europe. Everything is about 4 to 5 hours away. Round trip to London is about $180.

That's a pretty solid pitch, for me. I used to love traveling; day trips, road trips, overseas excursions. Sadly, adulting has required my financial attention, so I stopped. Last adventure out of country was 7 years ago, for a family wedding. Out of state, 3 years.
