I've wanted to do a similar water base for my Idoneth as well. How'd you build it up on the angled bases?

I used masking tape, folded to a third of it's width and with several small cuts, so that it can be stuck to the base without taking weird shapes. Put the resin, let it dry and remove the tape. Then I just use a cutter to clean the rough edges.pic.twitter.com/eOWgfkv28v
