We don’t have giant supermarkets in Finland compared to back in the states so I tend to just grocery shop for a day or two’s worth of meals. It makes planning less stressful and more flexible.

That sounds so so nice!
Like many things, it’s a trade off. It means more frequent trips to the market, but the flexibility means I can change what I want to eat and not be stuck with groceries I’m not in the mood for.
