I agree that proving yourself is important, however the competition is being pulled from a system that does not create a level playing field for all players to compete. CWL doesn’t even reflect the worlds stage event format, it only showcases your wallet or game tenure.

I'm curious how it reflects just your wallet. I mean sure you could gem your way to max TH13, but you simply wouldn't have the necessary skill in attack and defense to compete at that level. You can give a kid an F1 car, it doesn't mean he'll drive like Lewis Hamilton.

It doesn’t only reflect your wallet. The point is you could be the most talented clash of clan player on the planet if your account is not « safe » for any reason (like the ban for buying 3 years ago we had) then your only option to play is to use your wallet and gem to max TH 13

I actually agree with this. If ToS enforcement doesn’t occur prior to competition, punitive action on the team thereafter is somewhat unjust. If a player is a member of a clan in Champions 1 they should be scanned two days prior to CWL start and action taken before or not at all

Our anti-fraud team actually does a pretty good job of looking for violations within the game. Unfortunately things that happen outside the game are much more difficult to verify. But in-game cheating is caught very early.

Definitely and I wanted to note that in my other comment. In-game cheating should be actively punished and Supercell has historically done well with this; they appear to be debating now the other misdemeanors. I’m going to bow out on that though because I don’t have context.
