Since I have never been in Helsinki, I should put that on my list! Whens the best season to actually go there?

Depends if you like warm or cold weather. Winter gets as low as -30C. Summers can get as high as +35C. Late Spring and mid-autumn are beautiful, while summers are super laid back. I prefer the dark winters.
