We’ve also updated our Terms of Service, including terms specific to AI-generated content and how third parties must respect artists' declarations to be opted out of AI datasets.

Ok so does that apply to YOUR AI thing like mentioned in this tweet? If not, fucking useless really.

just a heads up to anyone who also thinks this is bullshit, that cute opt-out checkbox refers only to third party AI datasets. in order to opt out of DA's own AI generator you gotta fill out a FORM (docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI) requesting so.

I'm still going to delete considering you breached privacy of literally millions of users content just for your own personal gain. The program ALREADY got what it needed from all it's users, unless you can publicly prove you wiped the data completely from the AI or recalibrated?

Stable diffusion is open-source software and we did not make it and did not consent for your work to be used. We are the only platfrom that adds this information to your art so that these models respect it.

I'm not leaving DA anytime soon. I've been there long enough to pretty much see it all. But something like this... well, it's nice that they're setting opt-out as the default, but some will not be convinced of this.
Now for your next trick, make the classic layout an option.

Thank you. You owe RJ Palmer the world after the way your execs treated him on the live here on twitter. The team speaking condescendingly to him the entire time was really a show of how little they think of artists. It was deplorable to have to listen to them talk over RJ.

I was only there for a little bit and it was so upsetting. The guy was especially rude, and they weren’t even hearing him out, just defending the use of AI because they want to keep up with the next big thing.
