  1. I toured the Black Heritage Trail in Portsmouth, NH to commemorate Black History Month. We have to make peace with our past before we can make progress with our future. This month we stand in dignity.

  2. We already have the one result from Iowa that matters the most: turnout was too low. I’ve spent the last week in New Hampshire, and here’s what I’ve heard: to defeat Donald Trump, we need to engage everyone, everywhere. We need to show up for Americans so they show up for us.

  3. Dr. King and his allies didn't fight and die for the right to vote for us to sit idly by and wait for someone else to save us. We can't let cynicism and division distract us from our common goal: defeating Donald Trump and renewing the American Dream for everyone, everywhere.

  4. Thank you to so many who came out to our Exeter Town Hall in New Hampshire yesterday. This time, it's not about the character of the candidates— it's about the character of the country. And you get to decide.

  5. We have made our uneasy peace in this country with the notion of non-discrimination in our laws. We now need to reconcile integration in our communities. Honored to spend a very special afternoon with my friends at the Islamic Society of Greater Concord in New Hampshire.

  6. We keep waiting for polls to give us permission to shape our own future. We saw how that worked out in 2016. This time, there’s too much at stake. We have to decide. Join us:

  7. Stopped on the bus tour at Stonyfield Farm. Heard from many who expressed frustration towards our political system that is often more responsive to hate rather than hope. To meet this moment and beat Donald Trump, we need to build a movement that brings everyone in.

  8. In nine months, nothing else will matter but having the strongest Democrat on the ballot so we can defeat Donald Trump. We need more than big ideas, we need someone people can trust to get real results and make our lives better. That’s why I’m running.

  9. We cannot afford to let this moment pass. We stand at a crossroads where we must choose the sort of nation that America will be. I believe America at her generous best stands above hate and division and delivers on our promises for everyone.

  10. We need to bring in everyone. Democrats from Berkeley to Sumter and across the state of South Carolina are energized and organized, and it was great to spend time with them this weekend. They reflect the unity that’s needed to retake the White House.

  11. Honored to have the support of , who the people of New Hampshire trust. Take it from him why we're the best campaign to defeat Donald Trump and deliver results for the entire nation:

  12. I grew up on the South Side of Chicago, where dreams were rare. But with the help of a strong community, I have lived the American Dream. Watch this video and meet some of the people who helped along the way— my friend, Leo and my grade school teacher, Darla.

  13. We can use this moment as some leaders do and the way our current leader does, as an opportunity to drive us apart for political gain, or we can use this moment to bring us together. Both, historically speaking, are American. Only one is patriotic.

  14. We’re building a home in South Carolina to hear the unheard and to see the unseen, and to build a campaign that makes change that lasts. Join us:

  15. Dr. King and his allies didn’t fight and die for the right to vote for us to sit idly by and wait for someone else to save us. No one is coming to save us, but us.

  16. Today, we marched in South Carolina for Dr. King. His words come to mind: “Human progress is neither automatic or inevitable. Every step towards justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.”

  17. We have the opportunity to close the gap between reality— the unspoken anxiety and even shouted anger at one another, and our ideals— Dr. King’s dream. It would be wrong to be sitting down in this moment. Let’s all stand up.

  18. I worry Americans are so easily divided because we don’t know each other. National service for all young people can help change that. I am proud to accept ’s presidential challenge to make that a priority and a reality.

  19. Tonight we celebrated the opening of our headquarters in Columbia, S.C. We’re building a campaign that’s for everyone, everywhere. Join us:

  20. I won’t be on the debate stage tonight, but many of those watching will see our new ad and still hear my story about why I’m running for president: because we all deserve a fair shot at the American Dream.
