i mean obviously theres no threat to the planet as a whole its a literal rock in space
but there are still millions of species (other than homo sapiens) who would die if we dont "save the people"??

Earth's been around long before we took over and will remain after we're gone as a species -- so I don't understand what we're trying to protect other than ourselves.
is it not a noble task for the species on the top of the food chain to show kindness to the species that are dying thanks to something man-made? (climate change)
