So @TeamYouTube decided that a lot of people don't deserve to be verified anymore, not even people in the .01% top percentage like me with over a million subs which there are only around 8000 out of its 1.9 BILLION users.
If channels like me don't even get it, who does?
Apparently you just have to prove you're authenticity, that you are who you say you are. They'll probably have a system for that. Apparently the change isn't effected by numbers. It's supposed to make it so bots and imposters cannot get verified. This is according to YouTube
