Time to do this to every Confederate monument. Let's get to work.

Well, this is going to sound like an Old White Guy opinion, but I think it’s much better to let local governments remove them legally and safely. Pull down a statue and your a mob. Convince the government to do it and you win and your issue gets amplified.

But what did it stand for? Was it a monument of victory? Hardly! It was but a symbol for the difficult, and complex heritage of the south.
