They over powered the cazadors in that goddamn game. I never was able to make it to the Great Khan's because of those bastards

There are 4+ ways you could reach the khans tho: From the northeast - no real threats From southeast - face 1 baby deathclaw From the south and (kinda secret) south west are just cazzadors that you could easily face with a lvl 15+ char and some antidotes.

As far as dc's go, there is a reason they are called DEATHclaws - they will be the death of you. EASILY AVOIDABLE DC infested areas such as the quarry are optional proving grounds to see how well you built our character (or how well you can break their pathfinding

Here's 2 examples - on a stealth character I looted a hunting rifle and had loads of .308 ammo and some psycho, I cleared the whole quarry (including mother dc and legendary dc) at lvl 10 bt cheesing the A.I. pathfinding. Another example is a melee character I made (1/2)

Another example was my max STR & END (&1 INT hehe) melee character using pure brute force and chems to maul those death claws around lvl 20-25. Either way both deathclaws and cazzadors are 100% avoidable, especially big areas and parts of the game (like khans). (2/2)

Well the first time I played the game which was when it first came out I met everyone, the thing is, I don't remember which way I got there from, hell I don't even remember how I ended up there. Although I do remember meeting a couple of Great Khan, I feel like near the quarry?

But I can never remember if that is true or not.

A mini campfire at the north cliff of the quarry, its a fast travel point with a female khan giving you a chem dealing task for caps and good rep. IF I remember correctly the only way to reach it is through the quarry or from the north, but beware, there are a few dc's there too

Now that I think about it, its a pretty tight spot to sneak to, and may be the only non dc infested area blocked off by dc's. However when in doubt use the f:nv wiki. Lookup the quarry and youll see a map screenshot of the surrounding area hinting how & where you could reach it.
