It was not long after 5 am and my body is like “get up we got a ton of stuff to do” and I’m thinking “no it’s cool, the trial is over we can sleep in”, and my body is “yeah yeah whatever man, IDK what you are talking about, get up let’s go!”.

State Superintendent Ellen Weaver visited Greenwood County today. Meeting with the Western Piedmont Education Consortium this morning, Weaver spoke to superintendents and shared her vision. She finished her visit with a stop to Mathews Elementary, where she read to students.

There is a wedding going on in the media overflow room. Imagine the bride and groom booked the venue - the local wildlife center - before this trial was scheduled. Feel for them. So we are bunched up in the front of the wildlife center with all the exhibits
