Seattle wants to push every working class person to the outskirts of the region with bad land use and then abandon their transit needs. Just absolutely rancid environmental and social justice policy.

Legislative committee hearings are being scheduled for the first week of the legislative session. The Pedersen/Liias bill that would allow Sound Transit to create additive revenue districts (SB 5528) already has a hearing scheduled for next Thursday.

Localizing services leaves poorer areas behind. So while we continue to house the people displaced by King County's job growth, we make them commute longer distances and cut them off from transit. This is atrocious policy and liberals supporting it should be ashamed.

Are you saying that because Seattle wants to "go it alone" on ST expansion, it's abandoning people in the suburbs? I saw it more as the only way to pass more expansions since an ST4 would not be likely to pass in Pierce or Snoco.
