At our Executive Board we just approved funding from the federal government to support transit in the pandemic. I voted no. We talk a big game about equity... see if you can spot the equity here. This is shameful.

These inequities are rooted in the fact that Washington bases transit funding almost entirely on local wealth. We posture like a progressive state, but that's all it is... a performance.
