Tory policy means 120,000 kids will wake up on Christmas Day without a home. Meanwhile rough sleeping has increased for seven consecutive years and, last week, a homeless man died a stones throw from parliament. The only thing that can change all this is a Labour government.

Since the Great crash in 2008, in many developed countries, wages have stagnated and public services and state benefits have been cut. Yet the ultra super rich have got massively wealthier. Anyone would think we have an economic and political systems for a tiny few!

London’s temperature will drop below freezing today and disgracefully homeless people are on our streets. Labour in government will end rough sleeping. Until then, if you can, by donating to ’s rough sleeping campaign here:

I was thrilled to learn that this was Al Jazeera's most-read piece in 2018. It's a horrifying story that needs to be told, in these times more than ever.

It becomes more clear everyday. The Tories want the UK to be a tax haven off the shores of Europe. Low taxes for corporations. Low pay for workers. Poor workers rights much like Singapore. They want to suck the blood out of us & make their fortune!

  15. This is a pathetic attempt to shift the blame for Tory fares policies onto the staff who run the railway. It's telling that Grayling doesn't suggest slashing the salaries of train company bosses or dividends paid to shareholders of private train companies.

Misleading Headline About Corbyn No 1540998: What he actually says is: 'A SECOND REFERENDUM IS AN OPTION after the vote on the deal has taken place in Parliament.' It's almost as if they are deliberately stirring up anger towards him, isn't it?
