which one of his claims you're thinking of? I am not a physicist
What I’m saying is, nonlinearity is a physics concept and it has infiltrated biology and gotten rid of notions of advancing up a chain of progress. I have no idea why you think this is controversial.

no serious biologist claims things are advancing in a chain of progress. The "ascent of man" is a caricature. Even Darwin didn't think this way.
-
it seems that you're trying to claim advances in biology to your occultish physics-magic thing and it's rather annoying to watch from outside.
-
This isn’t controversial, is it?
-
what is "this" referring to in your tweet above
-
That advances in biology partially stem from dynamical systems theory and other nonlinear physics.
