One thing I really hope for with the patch after Blizzcon for Sc2 is something to remove Barcodes/leaving leagues. Playing a GM Barcode that is 5.7k MMR, then playing an unranked barcode that is 7k MMR just seems wrong.

Question I never understood, why do people do the leave league thing? Why not just play unranked since it operates the same as ranked but just doesn't show your mmr. You'd never even show up in league in the first place either. I say this while also hoping this never happens...
How do you find a barcode who left his league ? If you didn't play him or you saw him playing against someone else, it's nearly impossible to find the barcode.

Would it help discourage this practice if I made a tool that let's you find their account profile from a replay? Or is relying on the replay to see who it was not enough?

The real issue is not : we can't find who this is, because at the end it's easy to know who you just played at the end of the game, but the thing is when you queue up and you play an unranked barcode, you have absolutly no idea who this is. Just read Demu tweet again ^^
