    We were the first airline to make a major move from motion picture film to videotape technology with our in-flight entertainment on our entire transatlantic L-1011 fleet. Today, more than 300 movies, 550 TV show episodes, and 2,500 songs are available on most Delta flights.

    Our recently-retired 747, also known as the “Queen of the Skies,” was an icon in the airline industry. With 4 turbofan engines, a cruising speed of 534 mph and a 7,356 mile range, it was the pilot's ultimate dream.
