Do you not find vaccine-preventable disease harmful to children?
Most are not. Not in our country. Don’t lump us with third world malnourished countries.

You're right; American doctors and nurses do everything they can to keep victims of vaccine-preventable disease from dying. That's not a reason to not vaccinate. The racist overtone of your tweet is disturbing.

Rubella caused 100,000 miscarriages and another 100,000 severe birth defects in the well fed 1960s right here in the good ol USA in the 5 years before the vaccine was introduced

This! The US has plenty of vulnerable children. People who choose not to vaccinate place them at risk.

Want to be lumped together with famously malnourished France and Italy then?

In 1990, the worst measles outbreak to hit US in past 30 years happens and 150-250 die, 30k sickened. We are "lumped in" with other countries because in every country kids die of preventable infectious diseases. That's why we vaccinate, to prevent unnecessary suffering and death.

How privileged of you not to realize that even the US has malnourished children. And guess what? Worldwide vaccine programs can help those malnourished children throughout the world. Those malnourished children who deserve to live.
