It pains me to think that our budget is being informed by the failed theory of trickle-down economics which gave us the Great Recession.

No American should have to hope that opportunities to lead a better life MIGHT trickle down to them.

At the very least, we should not be holding tried and true social programs like Medicaid & Medicare hostage to a flawed economic theory.
