Today we reflect two years after a horrific limousine accident killed twenty individuals in Schoharie. I continue to draw inspiration from the strength of the families who lost their loved ones and first responders who immediately arrived to the crash site.
Our work today is clear: we must improve limo safety measures so no family has to endure this heartbreak. I will keep calling on the Senate to take up bipartisan, House-passed legislation to remove unsafe limos and close regulation loopholes to keep everyone safe on the road.
