How does flavored/sugared milk benefit kids more than regular milk? Or the farmers for that matter? Given the amount of processed ingredients and sugar already being served by NYC school food, we need healthier options not "expanded milk options" whatever the politics dictate.
I joined my colleagues on both sides of the aisle in opposing a ban on flavored milk in NYC schools that hurts upstate farmers & cuts off an important source of nutrients for young people.
