The House passed an amendment I introduced to fix our broken broadband mapping system. This could be a huge improvement for local businesses. A Farm Bureau study shows that widespread broadband service could boost the national agricultural economy by an estimated $64.5 billion.

Access to rural broadband also means our communities can access distance learning to improve education opportunities, telehealth, help rural small businesses participate in the global economy and help first responders foster safer communities. We all benefit from improved access.
