A 2017 study found 1/2 of the 300M clothing fibers the Hudson River carries into the Atlantic Ocean every day are plastic. Globally, only 14% of plastic is collected for recycling. Thank you for the awareness post. I'd like to see posts which offer solutions, Congressman. Just asking people to 'do more' isn't going to yield results. Maybe a volunteer commission to explore simple solutions.
