Many beginning farmers are struggling with student loan debt and the massive costs of starting their own farm operation. With the average age of farmers nearing 60 years old, we need to do more to help the next generation of farmers succeed.
I wholeheartedly agree but may I ask why social workers are NEVER on these lists? We serve vulnerable communities & incur large debt as well. Not sure why we’re never a part of the conversation
