9 yrs ago, Pres. Obama signed ACA into law, taking a giant step forward in improving our health care system. Now w/ Dems back in House majority, I'm humbled by opportunity to serve our communities in Congress, working not just to protect advances we made 9yrs ago, but to ensure we no longer remain only developed country in the world (despite being the wealthiest) w/o universal coverage.

I had to drop my ACA coverage because it was too expensive and I was just over the threshold for assistance. I have a cost-sharing plan now for catastrophes, but otherwise my fingers are crossed. Not the best option.
